Chicken Fried Ribeye

My Chicken Fried Ribeye recipe is made with thinly sliced ribeye battered and fried to a golden, crispy outside and smothered with a creamy white country gravy that is the perfect contrast to the crunchy steak. I took this recipe a step further and topped it with a perfectly poached egg for a rich, ooey gooey, irresistible twist on steak and eggs. You don't have to be from the south to love this comfort food classic!

Honey Cornbread Muffins

My Honey Cornbread Muffins are a mix of both southern and northern cornbread variations. The texture leans towards a traditional southern cornbread, however, the flavor is slightly sweet adding that northern twist and making these muffins deliciously addicting, in my opinion. For whatever that's worth <smile>

Chicken and Waffles Poutine #SundaySupper

This post is sponsored by the Idaho Potato Commission in conjunction with a social media campaign through Sunday Supper LLC. All opinions are those of the individual bloggers.

I had never enjoyed Chicken and Waffles or Poutine before this past summer, but now I'm hooked on both and couldn't resist fusing the two classic recipes into one incredible dish!
